KNOW BEFORE YOU GO

FarmScout gathers listing updates nationwide throughout the day. Each update includes an observed date or timestamp, so you can see how recently a listing was updated and quickly identify what is fresh, newly reported, or changed.

Information may be submitted by farmers and sellers or gathered from public sources. Farm information can change quickly: products sell out, weather affects picking conditions, and hours or event schedules change. Review the timestamp and confirm details with the business before traveling.

A MOTHER-AND-SON STORY

FarmScout is an independent, family-built platform created by a Long Island mom and her son. He built its first working prototype at age 11.

The idea began with a simple frustration: they wanted to support local farms, but useful information was scattered across websites and social-media posts. The mission became personal as they watched familiar farms disappear and fields become housing.

Together, they built FarmScout to create something useful and lasting—an easier way for people to discover agriculture and a free way for farms to reach customers.

FREE FOR FARMERS

Farmers and eligible farm-direct sellers can visit farmscoutlocal.com to add a standard listing, claim an existing listing, manage business information, and share products and events without listing or management fees.

Farmer Verified listings have been claimed by the farm or seller. Qualifying USDA Organic and Veteran Farmer attributes are searchable in the app.

A DISCOVERY GUIDE, NOT A MARKETPLACE

FarmScout has no shopping cart, checkout, booking system, or delivery service. It helps you discover agricultural businesses, products, events, and destinations, then connect with each business directly. Purchases, reservations, questions, and arrangements are handled by the business. FarmScout does not charge farmers sales or booking commissions.

CONSUMER SUBSCRIPTION

FarmScout Monthly and FarmScout Annual provide full consumer access. Pricing is shown in the app before you subscribe. Payment is charged to your Apple ID when you confirm a purchase or after any applicable introductory trial ends. Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current subscription period. Manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple ID settings.
