Field Capture is the official field documentation app for Tempo T5600 OPM and T5800 SLS test instruments.

Built for fiber optic technicians doing multi-unit work — FTTH deployments, OSP new construction, data center pre-commissioning, and enterprise network builds — it replaces paper logs and manual transcription entirely.

CONNECT YOUR METER. CAPTURE IN ONE TAP. Connect your Tempo T5600 OPM via Bluetooth. The app mirrors the reading directly from the instrument — no manual entry, no rounding errors, no clipboard. Tap Capture and the reading is saved with a timestamp, GPS coordinates, address, and pass/fail status automatically.

ORGANIZED BY JOB AND UNIT Create a job for each site or project. Assign unit numbers as you test. Every reading lives in its own job record, filterable by pass/fail status, or date. Progress tracks automatically as units are completed.

PASS/FAIL THRESHOLD CHECKING Set a dBm threshold at the job level. The app evaluates every reading against it instantly — no mental math, no rechecking notes at the end of the day.

EXPORT AND SHARE — CSV OR PDF When the job is done, export a complete record directly from your phone. Both formats contain every reading with full detail: unit number, power level (dBm), insertion loss (dB) (if applicable), pass/fail status, technician ID, GPS coordinates, address, and timestamp. Choose CSV for data analysis in Excel or Google Sheets, or PDF for a formatted report you can hand to a customer or your boss the same day the work is done. Share via email, AirDrop, or any file app on your device.
