SIGNAL INTELLIGENCE Every story gets analyzed for signals you can't see by scanning headlines:

• Expert First: flagged when researchers or practitioners broke the story before mainstream news picked it up
• Hype Alert: flagged when multiple news outlets cover something but zero expert sources do
• Rising: flagged when a story is gaining more sources than expected

Filter your feed by signal type with count badges showing how many stories match each signal right now.

SOURCE DIVERSITY SCORING Each cluster shows where the coverage comes from (research, practitioner, lab, or news). A story covered by 3 news outlets scores differently than one covered by 2 researchers and 1 lab. You see the composition, not just the count.

READING INSIGHTS Track your reading habits with personalized analytics. See your 30-day activity chart, topic distribution, and source diversity breakdown.

SMART PROFILE SUGGESTIONS After reading 20+ articles, AI Edge analyzes your patterns and recommends profile optimizations. It suggests topics you read frequently but haven't enabled, sources you engage with but haven't favorited, and interests you've stopped reading. One-tap actions for each suggestion. The app learns your behavior to help you get more signal, less noise.
