What is Sauce? Sauce is an AI-powered recipe manager that lets you import, organize, and cook recipes from anywhere. Whether you find a recipe on TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, or a blog, Sauce extracts the full recipe — ingredients, steps, timers, and nutrition — so you can save recipes to your personal cookbook and cook hands-free.

How Sauce Works The app is organized around five main tabs: Recipes, Pantry, Add, Groceries, and Profile.

1. Importing Recipes Users can add recipes in three ways:

Import from Link — Paste a URL from TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, or any recipe website. AI extracts the recipe title, summary, ingredients, steps, cook/prep times, servings, nutrition macros, and tags automatically. The app validates that the content is actually a recipe before generating a card. Scan Recipe Photo — Take a photo of a recipe (from a book, magazine, or handwritten note) or choose one from the photo library. AI reads the image and extracts the full recipe. Create Custom Recipe — Write your own recipe from scratch with a structured form for title, description, ingredients (with quantity/unit), numbered steps, timing, servings, and tags.

1. Recipe Library All imported and custom recipes appear in a beautiful masonry grid layout with varying card heights. Full-text search lets you find any recipe instantly. Tapping a recipe opens a detailed view with a hero image, source badge (TikTok, Instagram, Web, etc.), and all recipe info.

2. Recipe Detail & Serving Size Adjustment Each recipe shows prep time, cook time, and servings at a glance, plus a full nutrition breakdown (calories, protein, fat, carbs per serving). A built-in serving size adjustment control lets you increase or decrease servings with +/− buttons. Ingredient quantities scale automatically so you always have the right amounts. Add to Collection to organize recipes into custom groups — your personal digital cookbook.

3. Cooking Mode The "Let's Cook!" button launches a full-screen step-by-step cooking mode with a progress bar.

4. Grocery List Add grocery items manually, or import ingredients directly from any saved recipe

5. Pantry(Premium) Track what's in your fridge and pantry with quantity steppers.

6. Profile & Cookbook Collections View your saved recipes (favorites) in a horizontal scroll strip for quick access — this is your personal cookbook of go-to recipes. Create and browse Collections

7. Smart Notifications Cooking timer notifications alert you when a step's timer is done, even in the background.

Sauce offers a 3-day free trial to access the app and all features, after the trial users will be charged to continue using the app. The user understands that failure to cancel the free trial before billing period begins, you will be charged and it will not be refunded. Note that if user deletes the app, the subscription will not be canceled.
