I’ve tried many different calorie tracker and they all seem to be trying to do too much. HelloCalory is straight forward and an interesting new way to focus on weight loss. Instead of daily calorie deficit goals which makes you feel bad each day you’re not in a deficit HelloCalory focuses on the total calorie deficit you need to reach your goal weight. So if I want to lose 5lbs by end of summer I don’t have to worry about having 1 or 2 bad days, because the focus is now that I have to have a total calorie deficit of 18,000 calories by the end of the summer. It helps look at the bigger picture and little wins. Logging food is straight forward and easy. Most AI image food trackers I find to be really unreliable but HelloCalory asks follow up questions to the picture like: how was this cooked, did you get it at a restaurant ect. Making the logging more accurate.
