The Burgundy Journal is a quiet news reader. It pulls coverage from a short, hand-picked list of trusted outlets, groups the stories that cover the same event, and writes a clear, neutral summary of each — so you can catch up on the day in a few minutes and get on with it.

HOW IT WORKS • Vetted sources in, junk out. Coverage streams in from outlets like CNN, BBC News, Wired, TechCrunch, Yahoo Finance, NPR Health and Rolling Stone. No random blogs, no content farms. • One story, one card. When a dozen outlets chase the same event, you get a single card with one plain-language summary and links to every original. • The original is one tap away. Every summary links straight to the source reporting, and if a headline was rewritten you can tap to see the outlet's own.

WHAT WE DON'T DO • No sign-up, no email capture, no login wall. Open the app and the feed is there. • No subscription. The app is free, supported by a few unobtrusive ads instead of a paywall. • No clickbait. Headlines are rewritten to say what happened, and the original is always one tap away.
