HOW IT WORKS

Take a photo with your camera or choose one from your photo library. FishIQ analyzes the image directly on your iPhone — your photos never leave your device. The result appears within seconds: the common name of the fish. No account, no login, no data connection needed for identification.

FishIQ recognizes a wide range of fish from around the world, including freshwater, saltwater, offshore, reef, and tropical species.

YOUR FISHING LOGBOOK

Keep a personal record of every catch. Each logbook entry can include the species name, fish photo, weight, length, bait, fishing technique, GPS location if you allow it, and personal notes.

Your logbook lives on your device and is private by default. Nothing is shared unless you actively choose to.

GLOBAL CATCH MAP

Catches you mark as Share Publicly appear as pins on a community map, so other anglers can see what is being caught around the world. Private catches are never shown.

CATCH ANALYTICS

Pro users get a full view of their fishing history: total catches, top species, combined weight, catches by day of week, monthly trends, and top baits used. Export your logbook to CSV.

Free users get 3 fish identifications per day and up to 10 logbook entries. FishIQ Pro removes those limits:

FULLY OFFLINE

Fish identification is processed on your device. No Wi-Fi or cellular connection is required to identify a fish. The community catch map requires internet to load, but identification and your personal logbook work offline.

YOUR PRIVACY

FishIQ does not require an account or login. Photos are analyzed on your iPhone and are never uploaded. Location is only requested when you save a catch to your logbook.

FishIQ Pro is available as a monthly or annual auto-renewing subscription with a 3-day free trial. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at purchase confirmation. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the billing period. Manage or cancel anytime in your App Store account settings.
