Every season brings new decisions: tend your soil, manage water, fight disease, and keep your plants healthy through the dry months, the flowering, the cherry development, and the harvest. Pick selectively for the ripest cherries or strip-pick for volume — the choice shapes your quality and your bottom line.

When the cherries are in, processing begins. Choose washed, natural, or honey processing — each method draws out a different flavor profile. Then dry your beans on patios, raised beds, or in mechanical dryers, with each combination changing the final cup. Variety synergies reward processing choices that fit the bean.

Sell to four buyer channels: local buyers take any lot, the cooperative pays steady prices, specialty exporters demand consistency, and direct-trade roasters only deal in premium microlots. Reputation builds slowly across vintages and gates the best buyers.
