Raxha is a personal safety app for Apple Watch and iPhone that monitors your well-being and alerts your emergency contacts when something goes wrong.
SAFETY THAT STAYS WITH YOU
Raxha turns your Apple Watch into a personal safety guardian. While protection is active, it monitors your heart rate, motion, and surroundings — then automatically alerts the people who matter most.
NEWLY REDESIGNED
A completely rebuilt app, built so the thing you need in an emergency is the thing in front of you. Detection is calmer too — it asks "Are you OK?" before any countdown when only your vitals look unusual, and ignores loud venues.
HOW IT WORKS
Wear your Apple Watch. Start protection from your iPhone. Raxha quietly monitors in the background:
• Heart Rate — Continuous heart rate and HRV tracking spots patterns that may indicate distress
• Fall Detection — Impact detection with post-impact stillness confirmation
• Say "help" — Your watch recognises a spoken call for help entirely on the watch
• Audio Analysis — On-device sound classification detects distress sounds; the audio never leaves your device
• Activity Recognition — Knows if you're walking, running or exercising, to reduce false alarms
• Smart Sleep/Wake — Pauses when you remove your watch and resumes when you put it back on
SOS ALERTS
When Raxha detects a potential emergency — or when you trigger SOS yourself — it:
• Shows a clear SOS shortcut right on your watch
• Sends your GPS location to your emergency contacts
• Alerts your family, and shows you who was reached
• Lets the people alerted tell you they're calling or on their way
• Gives you a countdown to cancel false alarms — speaking can cancel it too
COMMUNITY HELP (OPTIONAL)
Sometimes the fastest help is a Raxha user nearby.
• Opt in, and your SOS can also alert up to 20 nearby Raxha users who chose to help — they see your first name, SOS location and distance. Never health data, no live tracking
• Opt in separately to be a helper and get alerts when someone nearby has an emergency
• Both switches are off until you turn them on
LOOKING AFTER SOMEONE ELSE
• Create and manage a profile for a family member you look after, with every safety and privacy setting held by you (available where our identity check is supported)
• Safe Zones — save places that matter, and be told when they arrive or leave
• Real-time status and last known location for everyone in your circle, on iPhone or iPad
OPTIONAL CHECK-INS
Raxha can learn what's ordinary for you and ask if you're all right when something looks unusual. Off until you turn it on, and it never raises an SOS on its own.
TRIP TRACKING
Automatic trip detection when you leave your saved places, with details you can share with family.
PRIVACY FIRST
• Sensor data is processed on your Apple Watch, and by default audio is analysed entirely on your device and never leaves it. Optional Cloud Voice Detection (off by default) sends a few seconds of audio to our trusted speech-processing providers only when your vitals and voice together suggest distress — which can be before an SOS is raised — and only to detect a call for help
• Health and location data are encrypted in transit and at rest, and never sold or shared with advertisers
• Diagnostic logs are redacted and deleted after 30 days
• No advertising identifiers or cross-app tracking
• You control all permissions, can download a copy of your data, and can delete your account anytime
WHAT YOU NEED
To be protected (wearer): Apple Watch running watchOS 10 or later, paired with an iPhone running iOS 16.2 or later.
To view your family's safety from a second device: iPhone or iPad running iOS/iPadOS 16.2 or later (companion view only — no watch required).
Raxha is designed for adults — caregivers, families, and anyone who wants to feel safer day to day. Every Raxha account is held by an adult (18+); a child can be protected only through a profile a verified parent creates and controls.
Download Raxha and let your watch watch over you.
