WHY PEOPLE MOVE TO TANDA

No bank connection. That is a design decision, not a setting. Tanda has no way to connect to your bank and never will. That means it works with banks that don't support aggregation, and your account credentials are never anywhere near this app.

It sees cash. An app wired into your bank cannot see the notes in your hand. Tanda counts whatever you tell it.

The exchange rate is captured when you spend, and never changed. Spend in one currency, see it in yours. Most apps revalue your history at today's rate, which quietly rewrites what things actually cost you. Tanda records the rate on the day and leaves it alone, which matters if you're living across two countries or reconciling for tax.

It works offline. Everything is stored on your device first. On a plane, on hotel wifi, underground: it still works, and syncs later if you want it to.

PRIVACY, AS A LADDER

Most apps give you one privacy switch. Tanda gives you three rungs, and you choose which one you stand on:

1. Standard: speech and AI run in the cloud
2. On-device speech: your voice never leaves the phone
3. Full Privacy: speech and AI both run entirely on your phone

Audio recordings never sync, on any rung. Every outbound network path in the app is checked against an explicit list of what is allowed to leave the device, and Full Privacy blocks all of it.

Tanda Pro adds unlimited voice logging, multi-currency, custom categories, several expenses in one sentence, CSV export, sync across your devices, and shared spaces.

If you cancel, your custom categories and multi-currency history stay visible, read-only, never held hostage.
