Local by design • Core SVG, Mermaid, Graphviz, and PlantUML rendering runs on the device; no account or remote rendering service is required • External SVG resources are blocked by default and use secure remote access only when you explicitly allow the document's named hosts • PlantUML uses a single-file offline model: include/import directives and URL or file images are blocked, while safe inline features remain available • SourceCanvas does not upload documents, record AI conversations, enable automatic tool approval, or include advertising analytics

AI-assisted workflows are controlled by you. During long coding tasks, a connected Agent can reuse one preview ID to show current architecture or progress. Updates are initiated by the connected AI Host; SourceCanvas does not monitor chats, code, logs, or tasks on its own.

The MCP Agent is available on macOS. iPhone, iPad, and Apple Vision Pro provide the same local document preview and export tools without exposing Agent Service.
