YidShrift is the modern Yiddish keyboard for iPhone — built from the ground up to be intuitive and facilitate fast communication.

Whether you use klal Yiddish loytn YIVO orthography, or in heymishe Chasidishe krayzn, YidShrift respects and facilitates saying what you want to say, how you want to say it. No more wrestling with Hebrew autocorrect or digging through long-press menus for ale nekudes.

Your typed text never leaves your device. The only data we collect is anonymous diagnostic information (crashes, performance metrics) to keep the keyboard fast and stable. No keystrokes, no full sentences, no contact info.

Allow Full Access is optional. Without it: typing works, suggestions work, swipe works. With it: anonymous performance metrics help us improve, and (if you choose) you can submit your scores to the Swipe-Shpil leaderboard.
