Wordhly is a handcrafted word puzzle built around a 4×4 letter grid. Drag across adjacent tiles to form words, chain streaks together, and chase higher scores — or switch modes for entirely different challenges.

Six Ways to Play

Standard The classic experience. No timer, no pressure. Search the board and find every word hiding in the grid. Build streaks by submitting words back-to-back and watch your score climb as longer words earn dramatically more points.

Blitz Ten escalating levels. Start fast with short words and tight clocks, then shift to longer words with more time to think. Clear each level's score target to advance.

Trainer Ten target words. Two minutes. Find them all before time runs out. Tap any word to instantly see its dictionary definition and expand your vocabulary while you play.

Link A unique physics-driven challenge. Eight tiles. Two minutes. Connect any tile to any other — no adjacency required. Connections sag like ropes that react to your phone's tilt and move aside when your finger crosses them.

MMA Mode A kid-friendly mode. Start with 3-letter words and work your way up through increasingly challenging levels. Features a curated word list, 2x score multiplier for level completion, and celebration animations.

Duel A new head-to-head multiplayer mode. Find a nearby friend signed into Game Center, tap Duel, and share the same 4×4 board for three 60-second rounds. First player to claim each word locks it in — longer words score more. Win two rounds to take the match. Tied after three rounds? Sudden death settles it: 30 seconds, first valid 4-letter word wins.

Watch each player's claims appear side-by-side in the drawer as the match unfolds. Victory and defeat chords compose into one harmonized piece when both phones are in earshot.
