ReadMine helps you keep the ideas worth remembering from every book. Track your reading, capture meaningful insights, and revisit them through spaced review and active recall.

CAPTURE INSIGHTS

Write an insight or scan a printed page to extract its text. Add optional tags and save multiple thoughts without repeatedly reopening the capture screen.

You can later edit an insight, mark an exact quote, add chapter and page information, or keep a personal note out of reviews.

REMEMBER WHAT YOU READ

ReadMine uses the SM-2 spaced repetition algorithm to schedule saved insights for review.

On supported Apple Intelligence devices, ReadMine creates multiple-choice quizzes from your insights using an on-device model. When quiz generation is unavailable, ReadMine provides a reveal-and-rate recall exercise instead.

TRACK YOUR BOOKS

Add books through online search, ISBN barcode scanning, or manual entry. Organize your library into Reading, Finished, and Want to Read shelves.

Update your current page, follow book progress, search your library, and sort books by date, title, progress, or number of insights.

FOCUS ON READING

Use the built-in stopwatch to record reading time and sessions for each book.

Connect Apple Music to choose from low-distraction focus, lo-fi, classical, and ambient reading playlists. Playback controls remain available while you use the rest of the app.

Apple Music playback requires an active Apple Music subscription. Playlist availability may vary by region.

UNDERSTAND YOUR PROGRESS

See your reading minutes, captured insights, completed reviews, and active reading days for the current week.

Monitor active books, due reviews, review streak, quiz accuracy, finished books, and library totals. Earn XP from reading and reviewing, level up, unlock new themes, and celebrate reading milestones.

REMINDERS AND WIDGETS

Choose a daily review reminder and receive alerts that help protect an active review streak.

Home Screen widgets can show your current book and progress, due-review count, streak, and a rotating saved insight.

SHARE AND EXPORT

Share an individual insight as a designed image or plain text. Export your complete insight collection as Markdown or JSON.

SYNC ACROSS DEVICES

Sign in with Apple or Google to sync your books, insights, progress, settings, and review history across devices. You can also continue without an account and keep your data on that device.
