Flick Shortcut: Phrase Keys

Insert your go-to phrases with a flick. v1.5.0 adds a hands-on tutorial, inline {date}/{time} variables, English presets, iPad layouts, and haptic control.

Flick Shortcut is a custom iOS keyboard that lets you instantly insert your frequently-used text with simple flick gestures — no more typing the same phrases over and over.

HOW IT WORKS

Assign any text to the up, down, left, and right directions of each key. During text input, just hold a key and flick in the direction to insert that text instantly.

• Tap the key: insert center text
• Flick up / down / left / right: insert each assigned text

KEY FEATURES

Custom Shortcut Keys Create your own shortcut keys with custom labels, colors, and icons. Assign up to 4 texts per key (one per direction).

Preset Templates Quickly get started with built-in templates:

• Greetings: common phrases like "Thank you" and "Best regards"
• Contacts: your name, phone number, email address
• Business: frequently used business expressions

Date & Time Key (Pro) Flick the special date key to automatically insert today's date, tomorrow's date, the current time, or the weekly date range.

Category Management (Pro) Organize shortcuts into categories by purpose. Swipe on the keyboard to switch categories instantly.

Backup & Restore Export your shortcuts as a JSON file and save to iCloud or share via AirDrop. Easily restore them on a new device.

Usage Statistics Track how many characters you've saved, your daily usage count, and your usage streak.

PRIVACY & DATA SAFETY

All your shortcut data is stored exclusively on your device (App Group). Nothing is sent to external servers. Your typed content is never collected or recorded.

HOW TO ENABLE

1. Open Settings -> General -> Keyboards
2. Tap "Add New Keyboard"
3. Select "Flick Shortcut"

Full Access is optional. Basic features work without it. Enabling Full Access allows usage statistics to sync between the keyboard and the app.

SUBSCRIPTION INFO
