Le Régional

Fondé en mars 1995, Le/The Régional est un journal hebdomadaire bilingue distribué de porte à porte dans la région de Prescott & Russell en Ontario et dans les municipalités d’Argenteuil au Québec. Cette 2e voix pour les lecteurs et annonceurs fut accueillie avec appréciation et nécessité. Dès son ouverture, Le Régional a réussi à s’imposer grâce à ses thématiques et ses idées nouvelles. En peu de temps, nous sommes passés de bon 5e au 1er rang des hebdomadaires couvrant un territoire de plus de 100 km du nord au sud. Nous sommes le seul hebdo indépendant a être distribué, de porte en porte, par le réseau de distribution Publi Sac de Transcontinental, tout en profitant de son réseau de publicité national (Réseau Sélect). Ces efforts concertés permettent au journal d’être ouvert sur l’avenir tout en restant attentionné à son produit et à sa clientèle. Des changements importants furent apportés en 2013 pour améliorer la qualité de notre impression.

Le Régional est maintenant 100% produit selon un procédé 4 couleurs sur un papier de qualité supérieure extra blanc et plus épais. Ce changement donne au Régional un autre avantage sur les hebdomadaires de la région.

Founded in March 1995, Le / The Régional is a bilingual weekly newspaper, distributed door-todoor in the Prescott & Russell region of Ontario and in the municipalities of Argenteuil, Quebec. As a much needed 2nd voice for readers and advertisers, we have managed to win over readers with our newspaper’s themes and ideas. In a very short time, we rose from 5th to 1st in rank of weeklies covering a territory of more than 100 km from north to south. We are the only independent weekly to be distributed door-to-door by Transcontinental’s Publi Sac distribution network, while

taking advantage of its national advertising network (Réseau Sélect). These concerted efforts have allowed us to « keep up with the times » while remaining attentive to our product and our customers. Significant changes were made in 2013 to improve the quality of our printed product. The Regional is now completely produced using a 4-colour process on an extra white and extra thick high quality paper. This change gives the Regional another advantage over the weeklies in the region
