Plant Press

Plant Press allows you to create plant checklists for field surveys with geotagged observations. Each checklist is stored under a site for easy organization.

Checklists are organized into your list of species, with each species capable of storing multiple observations. Observations are individual reports of a single species and you have an option to add a variety name, location, photo, and notes. A map of your full checklist is easily accessible from the toolbar.

Once a checklist is complete, it can be easily exported to an Excel-readable format with or without the attached photos. Exporting can be done at the checklist, site, or complete database level.

Currently, the app has preloaded genus and species names for New York State plants. The navigation button in the toolbar will open up the New York Flora Atlas for quick research access.
