How it works

• You're shown a set of player data including appearances, goals, Premier League titles won, and their highest league finish. Armed with that, you make your first guess.
• The game is structured around a match timeline, you're racing to identify the player before full time. Guess correctly early and the bragging rights are all yours.

Clues & substitutions

• Struggling? You're not alone. At half-time, your Super-sub clues are unlocked, additional facts that give you more to work with, including the date range the player was active, the country they represented at international level, and the position they're best known for.
• Still stuck? Extra clues revealed from your substitutions give you even more detail to narrow it down. You can also review all your previous guesses to help refine your thinking, or skip ahead if you need to.
