How grinder predictions work

Grind Finer uses your own shot data to suggest grinder settings. When you log shots with your beans, grinder, machine, and basket, the app learns what works for your equipment. When you start a new shot with the same setup, it predicts a grinder setting based on your past successful extractions.

The prediction uses:

Your equipment – Grinder, machine, and basket Your beans – Which coffee you’re using Your targets – Desired brew time and ratio (e.g. 1:2 espresso) The more shots you log, the better the suggestions. Using consistent names for your grinder, machine, and basket helps the app learn your setup and improve predictions over time.
