2. Open any app where you type - Messages, Instagram, Notes, WhatsApp, email, anywhere.
3. Scroll the persona rows at the top of the keyboard and tap any Alter Ego.
4. Your message is instantly rewritten in that character's voice - slang, tone, style and all.

SMART REWRITES

AlterEgo's AI doesn't just slap a theme on your message - it understands context. A casual "what's up?" gets a quick, punchy reply. A venting message gets a more dramatic, emotionally aware response. Every persona has its own signature moves, catchphrases, and speech patterns.

Not happy with the first rewrite? Choose from three retry options:

• Dial It Up: push the persona further, more dramatic and over-the-top
• Dial It Back: same persona, softer and more natural
• New Angle: completely fresh take on your original message

FAVORITES & CUSTOM PERSONAS

Long-press any persona on the keyboard to instantly save it to your Favorites row for one-tap access. Subscribers can also create their own custom personas - name them, describe their personality, and use them on the keyboard just like any built-in alter ego.

REWRITE HISTORY

Every rewrite you keep is saved to your History tab in the AlterEgo app. Browse past rewrites, share them as cards, or use them for inspiration.

Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date. Manage or cancel anytime in your Apple ID settings.

AlterEgo requires "Full Access" to enable AI rewrites. No personal messages are stored on our servers. Rewrite requests use only the text you actively select for transformation.

A 3-day free trial is available for new subscribers. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. Your Apple ID account will be charged upon confirmation of purchase and at the start of each renewal period. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your Apple ID Account Settings.
