The Curated book shelf

An app for those who collect books not just for a list, but for a personal collection of moods, life stages, and future discoveries. It's a space where each selection is like its own shelf in the perfect library, and each book is part of a story you create yourself.

The main screen is your book scene.

Added books are displayed as a horizontal ribbon, like the character selection screen in old games: you scroll your collection left and right, stopping at the cover you need. The tile displays only the poster and title, nothing extra. The visual focus is on atmosphere.

In normal mode, books scroll smoothly, creating the feeling of a living collection. In editing mode, you can rearrange them using drag and drop—create the perfect order: by mood, genre, importance, or intuition.

Clicking on a book takes you to detailed information:

Description

Genre

Authors (can specify multiple)

"Read/Want to Read" status

Each card contains a neat toggle switch, allowing you to mark your progress with a single swipe. This isn't just a checkmark—it's moving forward.

Buttons that bring your collection to life

SHUFFLE—shuffles the entire collection. Sometimes the best discoveries happen by accident.

Random Book—selects one book from the list and suggests it to you. Perfect when you don't know where to start.

Adding a book

The adding screen is simple and flexible:

Title—free entry

Description—your thoughts, summary, or personal impressions

Genre—any, unlimited

Author—you can specify one or more

Poster—upload from the gallery or a photo from your camera

You create your own library—without imposed databases and templates.

An in-app purchase is available to support the developers. This is a way to keep the project alive and developing it further—by adding new features, improving the interface, and making collecting even more enjoyable.
