PLAN AROUND REAL AVAILABILITY Set how many minutes each household member wants to contribute on every day of the week. NeatShift builds a practical daily plan, keeps overflow visible, and can balance work automatically by time or task count. Prefer full control? Keep assignments manual.

ORGANIZE THE WHOLE HOME Create floors, rooms, and zones without duplicating chores. A task can belong to one room, cover an entire floor, or apply to the whole household. Add its duration, effort, priority, assignee, and occupancy needs.

FLEXIBLE RECURRING CHORES Schedule tasks daily, weekly, monthly, yearly, or every X days, weeks, months, or years. Completing a task recalculates the next due date from when it was actually done. The overdue view keeps unfinished work visible and orders the oldest delay first.

FAIR SHARING Invite household members through iCloud and link each participant to the right profile. Compare planned and completed load against each person's availability, review weekly or monthly contributions, and redistribute eligible chores when the household wants a fresh balance.

VACATIONS WITHOUT FALSE OVERDUE WORK Schedule a vacation ahead of time or switch it on manually. Pause the whole household, temporarily redistribute one absent member's chores, or use Empty Home mode to pause presence-based work while keeping plants, ventilation, and mail on the plan. Excluded days do not create fake overdue penalties or distort fairness statistics.

MOTIVATION ON YOUR TERMS Optional points, weekly and monthly rankings, badges, streaks, and monthly jokers can make routines more engaging. Gamification and rankings can be disabled without losing history. When adult approval is enabled, a child's completion or joker stays pending until an adult reviews it.

REMINDERS, STATS, AND WIDGETS Configure local reminders for today's plan, overdue work, child approvals, and upcoming vacations. Review contribution history and trends, then glance at today's workload from the Home Screen widget.
