COMPATIBILITY & FEATURES BY DEVICE Some features depend on how new your iPhone is. The clock itself works on every supported device — the extras switch on for newer models:

• iPhone 8 and newer — full experience, including local weather and optional HomeKit control (turn a smart plug on/off). iPhone 8 is the oldest model that supports weather and HomeKit. • iPhone 7, iPhone 7 Plus, iPhone 6s, iPhone 6s Plus, and iPhone SE (1st gen) — the clock, brightness, and battery features work great, but weather and HomeKit are not available on these models, so those features are automatically hidden.
