Just downloaded and trying to sign up and I can't even get through the sign up process.... no point if the app doesn't work

I am unable yo get past the phone # screen as it just freezes. I have seen other reviews stating the same thing. I have registered online and am in the queue. Although not sure what good that does if the app doesn’t work.
