Trucker tools, places, dreams
TruckerNavi is a free set of tools for owner-operators, car haulers and anyone getting a truck on the road in the United States. No account, no subscription, no ads.
WHY YOU WORK
Fifty states, each with a photograph, a way of life and three plain facts. The current temperature in the main city sits in the corner of every card, and three numbers say what the state costs: a typical home, rent in its biggest city, and today's diesel. Seventy hours behind the wheel are easier when you can picture what they buy.
WHERE TO STOP
Name the city you are heading to and get truck parking there: real truck stops and travel centres, not downtown garages a 70-foot combination cannot enter. Alongside each one, a place worth a selfie nearby when there is one, with a photograph so you can see what you are walking to.
PLACES ON THE ROAD
A hand-checked map of places that serve Russian-speaking drivers across the US: food stores, somewhere decent to eat, truck repair shops, tire service, bathhouses. Filter by category, sort by distance, call or get directions in one tap. You can pin your own spots; they stay on your phone and are never shared.
DO I FALL UNDER FMCSA
For pickup-and-trailer haulers. Enter the two weight ratings and find out which side of 10,001 and 26,001 pounds you are on, and exactly what that means: USDOT number, MC authority, medical card, logs, CDL class A, cargo insurance, UCR.
TRUCK DIMENSIONS
Length, height, width and weight against the federal limits, plus the federal bridge formula, which answers what a scale master is really asking: not how heavy the truck is, but how tightly the weight is packed between the axles.
MORE CALCULATORS
Is this load worth it, with deadhead and real cost per mile. IFTA quarterly tax across 49 jurisdictions. Per diem. VIN decoder through the free NHTSA database. Carrier lookup by USDOT or MC number.
STAYING LEGAL
Deadline tracking with reminders for medical card, annual inspection, UCR and the MCS-150 update, whose due date the app works out from your USDOT number. A step-by-step guide to a DOT inspection. A phrasebook with spoken English for the scales, for loading cars and for a breakdown.
THREE LANGUAGES
English, Russian and Ukrainian, switchable inside the app without changing your phone settings.
PRIVACY
No account, and no server of ours holding your data. Everything you enter stays on this device. Nothing is collected and nothing is uploaded.
