Features & Capabilities

Always know if Mom is okay. Moin sends hourly check-ins with steps, heart rate, fall detection & emergency alerts. Peace of mind, not surveillance.

Moin Tracker gives you the peace of mind you want for your family – without surveillance feelings, without data-hungry services, without compromise.

You love your parents or relatives. But you no longer live next door. And sometimes the worry runs deeper than any phone call can soothe: Did Mom get up today? Did Dad leave the house? Is she okay – just physically, simply?

Moin Tracker answers exactly these questions. Quietly in the background. Automatically. Every day.

And not just for family: Moin also works for friends who want to keep an eye on each other – while travelling, at a festival, or whenever someone is out alone. Once connected, everything runs automatically.

HOW IT WORKS Your relative installs the free Moin Home app on their smartphone. The app detects in the background whether the person is moving – without GPS tracking, without photos, without access to personal data. Once per hour, it sends a check-in signal to you.

In the Moin Tracker app, you see at a glance: – When was activity last reported? – Is the person actively out and about or at home? – How many steps were taken today? – When was the check-in signal last updated? – Instant alert if a fall is detected

If a check-in is absent for too long, Moin Tracker automatically raises an alert. So you always know whether everything is alright – without having to call your relative 20 times a day.

PRIVACY FIRST Moin was developed from the beginning with one clear principle: safety without surveillance. The app never transmits GPS coordinates. No photos, no audio data, and no personal information are collected. Only the essentials: Is the person active? Yes or No.

This doesn't feel like control to relatives – it feels like care. That's the difference.

FEATURES AT A GLANCE – Real-time check-ins from connected relatives – Automatic fall detection – instant alert, no button press, no wearable – Automatic alert when check-ins are absent (configurable) – Activity status: Home, Out, or Inactive – Step counter display for the current day – Health data: heart rate, sleep & energy (via Apple Health) – Timeline of recent check-in signals – Push notifications for alerts – Emergency button: instant alert when your relative triggers a manual SOS – Photo check-in: send and request photos – Home zone: notifications when relative leaves or returns home – Easy invitation via 6-digit connection code – Monitor multiple relatives simultaneously (Pro) – AI weekly report: personal summary every Sunday (Pro) – No account required for the relative

SIMPLEST SETUP Send your relative an invitation code. They install Moin Home, enter the code – done. No account creation, no email, no passwords. Optimized for seniors and people who aren't tech-savvy.

PRO VERSION With Moin Pro you can monitor multiple relatives simultaneously – ideal for siblings who share responsibility for a parent together, or for anyone who wants to keep an eye on multiple elderly family members. You also get zone alerts (e.g. when leaving home at night), 7- and 30-day activity history, detailed analytics, and a personal AI weekly report every Sunday. The free version supports one connection with no time limit.
