Share a place from Google Maps, choose an alert distance, and start the alarm. WakePoint monitors your location while the alarm is active and notifies you with sound and vibration when you get close to your destination.

It is useful for train rides, bus trips, commuting, car travel, long-distance rides, and any situation where you want to notice your destination before you arrive.

1. Open a place in Google Maps
2. Tap Share
3. Choose WakePoint
4. Select an alert distance
5. Start the alarm

No complicated in-app map search is required. Find your place in Google Maps, then use WakePoint as your arrival alarm.

■ Adjustable alert distance

Choose how early you want to be notified before reaching your destination.

For walking, choose a shorter distance. For trains or buses, choose a little more distance. For cars or long-distance travel, choose a wider alert range.

You can adjust the alert distance to match your trip.

■ Location usage

WakePoint monitors your location only while an alarm is active. Location is used to check whether you are approaching the selected destination.

If notification permission, location permission, or device location settings are required, WakePoint will guide you inside the app.

■ Notes

Notification timing may vary depending on GPS accuracy, underground areas, tunnels, buildings, device battery settings, and network conditions. For important trips, we recommend choosing an alert distance with enough margin.
