Linetris is the daily block puzzle where every player gets the identical 8x8 grid each morning. Place your pieces, clear your lines, and the moment your board is done you see exactly where you rank against the world.

This is not another endless block puzzle. It ends. It scores you. It ranks you. Then it does it again tomorrow.

HOW A DAY WORKS

1. Open Linetris. Today's grid is waiting -- the same one everybody else got.
2. Drag pieces onto the 8x8 board.
3. Fill a full row or column to clear it and score.
4. When you run out of moves, your run is over and your rank is instant.
5. Finish in the top 3 and take Gold, Silver or Bronze.
6. Send the grid to a friend and see who played it better.

ONE PUZZLE, ONE SHOT

There is no grinding for a better score. You get today's grid once, like everyone else, and what you make of it is what goes on the leaderboard. That constraint is the whole game -- it turns a casual block puzzle into something worth arguing about at lunch.

• Swap: choose exactly the piece you want
• One Cell: drop a single cell into any empty space
• Remove: erase a filled cell
• Rewind: undo your last placement

They are limited each day, which makes deciding when to spend them part of the puzzle.

Out of valid moves? You get one lifeline before the run ends -- remove a cell or rewind your last move -- to keep the grid alive a little longer.
