HOW IT WORKS

Every time you open a conversation, the TrueDepth camera checks for a real human face. Messages are only visible when you're looking — and only sendable when you're present. No images or video are ever captured or transmitted. It's a simple yes-or-no: is a human here right now?

Before you even send your first message, your device is cryptographically verified through Apple's App Attest and the Secure Enclave. This confirms you're running the real, unmodified app on genuine Apple hardware. Every single request to the server is signed by your device — bots and emulators can't fake it.

PRIVACY BY DESIGN

• Face detection is 100% local — no biometric data ever leaves your device • Messages are end-to-end encrypted with AES-256-GCM • The server stores only ciphertext — it cannot read your messages • No phone number or email required — identity is based on passkeys • No tracking, no ads, no data mining

END-TO-END ENCRYPTION

Every message, image, and reaction is encrypted on your device before it leaves. Room keys are distributed using Hybrid Public Key Encryption (HPKE) and rotate when members leave. Even if the server were compromised, your conversations remain private.
