The map fills the entire screen. A single main button fans out, on hold, into a radial menu with eight actions: Location, List, Map Style, Add Place, Favorites, AR Mode, Refresh, Settings. Swipe direction selects – no precise tap needed.

HOME SCREEN WIDGET

See the most interesting POIs near you right on your Home Screen. Three sizes available: small (one POI), medium (three POIs as a list), and large (a hero POI with Wikipedia photo plus seven more). Each POI with category and distance. One tap on the widget opens the place directly in the app.

AR VIEW

Hold up your iPhone – the camera shows places in your surroundings as a live overlay, with direction and distance. Works outdoors with GPS and compass, no need to keep looking at the map.

GEOCACHES

Over 83,000 GeoCaches worldwide. Log your finds, read logbooks, submit your own caches – visible to all users. A built-in compass guides you the last meters to the hide.

AT A GLANCE NEARBY

Each place detail automatically shows what's around: over 3 million cafés and restaurants, plus supermarkets, hotels, pharmacies – each with distance. And over 9 million parking spots with cost and type info for the drive there. Navigation hands off to Apple Maps – right from the app.

APPLE WATCH

A standalone watchOS app that works without an iPhone nearby. Shows places within walking distance – on hikes, city walks, or while traveling.
