WHO IS SPEAKING Voca separates voices automatically and marks every line with the person who said it. Tap a name to rename it, tap a line to jump straight to that moment in the audio. If the automatic labelling gets something wrong, you can move a line to another speaker in one gesture.

WATCH IT WRITE The transcript appears while you are still talking. Minimise the app and the recording keeps going.

CHOOSE WHAT RECORDS Pick the microphone before you start — the iPhone, your AirPods, or any mic you have connected. AirPods record in full quality, not phone-call quality.

ON A VIDEO CALL If you are on a call with headphones in, Voca tells you before you hit record: sound playing in your headphones never reaches the microphone, so only your own voice would be captured. Put the call on speaker and everyone is recorded.
