Skylang – Learn Korean

Skylang is a Korean learning app designed to build real fluency with story-based lessons and exercises, developed by Teacher Kay, who has over 20 years of experience in teaching at universities and developing curriculum for the Korean language. It's made to help people become a confident speaker of Korean with proficiency and insights into the culture in which the language lives.

Users will learn and practice with Teacher Kay in Classes, take check-up quizzes for reinforcement, expand vocabulary with engaging activities in the Vocab lessons, build fluency via Roleplays, and gain communicative skill by having interactive conversations in Conversations, presented in a spiral build-up manner. These lessons are the building blocks to each unit, and the more units you thoroughly go through, the more skills and knowledge you gain as an informed learner.

If you need to have questions answered or have an acute language need, use Tools to get an answer from our models on Skylang. The vocabulary you pick up in these tools is shared under one system of memory, and there’s a natural path to reviewing what you learn so that you can continue to practice the things you ask.

You can watch authentic clips we handpick to hear natural Korean in action, observe how native speakers interact with the language, and notice cultural cues. You’ll be able to guide your own learning with our educational features that include captions in blocks to choose phrases of your choice, loop sections on the video, and ability to save items to Flashcards so you can study them later.
