Features & Capabilities

Healthcare rarely affects one person alone. Whether it's your own care or that of a parent, partner, child, friend, or pet, important information ends up scattered across texts, emails, portals, calls, and documents.

AretaCare gives everyone one shared place to stay organized, informed, and prepared.

Create a care session, invite trusted family members or caregivers, and work together through stressful moments. Exchange messages, store documents, record conversations, prepare questions, and maintain a clearer picture of the care situation over time.

HOW ARETACARE HELPS

  • Stay coordinated: Share a care session with up to 9 people so everyone can see the same information, contribute updates, and stay connected.
  • Stay organized: Bring together messages, documents, audio recordings, follow-ups, and reminders in one place.
  • Stay prepared: Capture concerns, organize questions, and walk into care team conversations with a clearer understanding of what needs to be discussed.
  • Stay focused: Spend less time sorting through information and more time engaging with the care team. AI helps summarize, organize, and explain along the way.

This is such an important tool. Ultimately everyone should be using this, but especially as we age and begin to have more and more encounters with doctors. It’s also very important that older loved ones use this or allow their caretaker/children to help collaborate with them.

I created AretaCare while helping care for my mom, so this is very personal for me. Yesterday at the hospital, I was using it to keep track of updates, notes, and questions, and a few doctors and nurses asked what app I was using. After I showed them, they asked me to text it to them so they could use it with their own families. That meant a lot. AretaCare has genuinely helped my family stay organized, communicate more clearly, and feel more prepared during a very stressful time.

I love my husband. I do. But asking him how an appointment went used to be like interviewing a hostile witness. "It was fine." "She said some stuff." "I don't remember." Meanwhile his family was texting me for updates and I had nothing useful to pass along. AretaCare has genuinely fixed this. He can load in records and notes from a visit, keep a running list of questions he wants to ask (and actually remember to ask them, because they're all in one place), and then generate a clean summary to send out to family. No more me playing switchboard between him and all the relatives asking the same questions. What I like most is that it doesn't require him to suddenly become a great communicator. The app does the structuring for him — he captures what happened, and out comes something shareable. His family finally feels looped in now. Highly recommend for anyone married to someone who thinks 'it was fine' is a complete medical update.
