Every day, Vivara compares what you actually did against your rolling 14-day baseline and gently adjusts your calorie and macro targets - dampened and capped, so a single big day never tips you into "earned calorie" binging or under-fueling. Open the Today screen and you'll see exactly why your number changed: base kcal, activity adjustment, goal adjustment, all laid out.
It's not magic. It's an algorithm built on published exercise physiology, the closest thing to a coach watching your week unfold in real time.
Workout calories you can actually trust
Vivara uses MET-based estimates for cardio and strength, cross-checked with heart rate via the Keytel formula, conservative on purpose. No inflated numbers, just honest data feeding your daily targets.
