What The Fridge?! helps you track what’s in your fridge, pantry, and freezer (or wherever you keep food - your desk, in the bedroom) so you can plan meals, shop smarter, and waste less. Add items in seconds, organize them however you want, and get notified before they expire.

Features include:

• Manual addition of items with barcode scanning: name, location, expiration, quantity, tags, notes
• Voice: speak naturally and review the parsed list before adding (AI runs on-device; first use requires a one-time model download on Wi‑Fi)
• Bulk: enter multiple items at once and add all in one tap
• Receipt Scanning: Snap a photo of your receipt, let our AI parse all the items, present you with a list to import, then set expiration dates, locations, persons, etc.
• Custom locations (need to know what's in the garage? in your kid's room?)
• Custom categories (when scanning a barcode, we'll determine category, but if you want to add your own, you can)
• Lightning fast search: find any item, instantly.
• Dark mode; even Dracula would approve.
• Suggested shopping list items: when you run out of something, you can quickly add it to your list.
• People assignments: since you can filter by person, you can tag items by who eats them. Know who has what food, and where.
• Filter by Expiration (Expired, Expiring Today, Expiring Tomorrow, and Expiring Soon), Person, Location, or Category.
• Optional push notifications for expiration reminders (today, tomorrow, in three days, already expired)
• Share your inventory with family/roommates so everyone stays in sync. Just send a link, QR code, or your unique six-digit inventory identifier.
• Shared shopping list support when using a shared inventory
• Add a Home Screen widget to see counts of items that are expiring soon or have already expired.

• Optional AI Receipt Scanning (paid add-on): Scan a grocery receipt and get a reviewable list before adding items. (Receipt scanning requires an internet connection.)
• Sign in with Apple is optional (the app works without it). Signing in enables cross-device syncing.
