Root and Reason

Your kids are going to ask the hard questions about faith. Root and Reason helps you answer them with confidence.

Root and Reason is a Christian kids apologetics app that turns five minutes a day into a family habit of faith. Built on the wisdom of C.S. Lewis, Tim Keller, N.T. Wright, G.K. Chesterton, and Augustine, every short lesson gives your child the words, reasons, and scripture to understand what they believe and why.

THREE AGE TRACKS, ONE FAMILY

Pick the right level for each child, and switch anytime:

• EXPLORER (Ages 6 to 8): parent-led sessions with simple language and gentle conversation
• DISCOVERER (Ages 9 to 12): parent-led sessions with deeper ideas and bigger questions
• REASONER (Ages 13 to 16): independent reading with teen-level reasoning and reflection

Each child gets a personal profile, progress tracking, and their own pace, all on one device with one subscription.

WHAT'S INSIDE EACH 5-MINUTE LESSON

• A clear key idea your child will remember
• A scripture anchor (ESV)
• Family discussion questions for real conversations
• A guided prayer written for that lesson
• Hidden parent notes with book recommendations and practical tips
• AI tools to create fresh discussion questions or rewrite the lesson for your child's age
• Read-aloud mode for car rides and bedtime
• A quick quiz to reinforce the key idea
• Streaks, badges, and a daily verse to build the habit
