Live Scams, Thefts & Dangers
Join a community of travelers who warn each other about scams, thefts and areas to avoid. One tap to report, one glance to travel safer wherever you go.
The scam running on that corner this week. The station where phones get lifted. The street that changes after dark.
Local knowledge like that already exists. It's just trapped in people's heads, scattered forum threads, and hindsight. Guardigo puts it on a map, in real time, from the travelers who were standing right there.
HOW IT WORKS
Someone spots a hazard and drops a pin. You see it before you walk into it. Then you do the same for the next traveler. That's the whole idea: every report protects everyone else, so the map gets better the more of us are on it.
WHAT YOU CAN DO
- See what's nearby. Hazards on a map with real area names, so you know which corner a report came from.
- Report in seconds. Drop a pin, pick a category, add a photo or video.
- Cut the noise. Filter the map and the feed by the categories you care about.
- Confirm or deny. Vote on reports so accurate ones carry weight and stale ones don't mislead.
- Add the detail. Comment on a report when context matters.
- Save what's relevant. Bookmark alerts for the trip you're on.
- Plan ahead. Add your trips and keep the places you're headed close at hand.
WHAT TRAVELERS REPORT
Eight categories, all of them physical world:
Theft & robbery · Unsafe areas · Scams & fraud · Natural hazards · Health risks · Transport issues · Police activity · General warnings
MADE FOR ARRIVING SOMEWHERE ALONE
Guardigo is built for independent travelers, especially solo travelers and first-timers in a city they've never seen. It isn't here to make you nervous. The opposite: knowing what's actually around you is what lets you relax and explore.
WHAT GUARDIGO IS NOT
- Not a tracker. Nobody follows you and you follow nobody. Guardigo is about places and patterns, never people.
- Not antivirus or anti-phishing. This is the physical world of streets, stations and ATMs, not your inbox.
- Not a government advisory feed. The signal is local, current, and from fellow travelers.
GUARDIGO+
Guardigo is free to use. Guardigo+ adds [FILL IN: what the paid tier unlocks].
- Guardigo+ Pass: $8.99 for one 7-day pass
- Guardigo+ 4-Pack: $25.99 for four 7-day passes
- Guardigo+ Annual: $39.99 per year, auto-renewing
Passes never expire, so you can buy one now and activate it the day you land. The annual subscription renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel it any time in your App Store account settings.
ONE HONEST NOTE
Guardigo is new, so some cities are still quiet. If you're early somewhere, your first report is the one that makes this map worth opening for the next traveler who lands there.
