Noor is a focused Quran reading experience designed for people who want clarity, depth, and continuity in daily reading. Whether you are reading a few verses after prayer, studying a full surah in detail, or comparing different interpretations verse by verse, Noor keeps everything in one calm and structured flow.

The app is built around real reading habits. Open the Read tab and continue from where you left off automatically. Noor saves your last position and takes you straight back to the exact surah and verse, so you can keep momentum without searching manually every time.

Noor includes complete Quran metadata with all 114 surahs and localized surah names. You can browse quickly, search surah names with diacritic-insensitive matching, and open any surah instantly. Verse structure stays clean and readable, with typography tuned specifically for long reading sessions.

Every verse is actionable. While reading, you can bookmark important ayahs, add personal notes, compare the same verse across all downloaded translations, copy text for private study, or share selected verses. Noor also supports beautifully styled verse cards for sharing as images, with both dark and light card styles.

For readers who want to keep original text visible, Noor can display Arabic alongside translation in the same reading flow. You can toggle Arabic visibility at any time and adjust text size with quick controls to match your comfort. The interface is optimized for both focused study and casual daily recitation.

Audio is deeply integrated. Noor supports verse-by-verse recitation playback with multiple reciters, automatic next-verse progression, and an always-available mini control bar for play, pause, previous, and next. You can switch reciters from inside the reading screen without breaking your session.

Noor also includes on-device text-to-speech for translation text. This is especially useful for pronunciation support, auditory review, and accessibility. TTS works with many language codes and can be toggled per verse directly from reading actions.

Search is not limited to titles. Noor can search verse text across your downloaded translations and group results by surah, with highlighted matches and quick jump-to-verse navigation. Recent search history is saved so you can revisit previous study topics quickly.

Translation management is designed for real-world use, not clutter. Noor ships with a large translation catalog and lets you download only what you need, keep your active translation in one tap, and remove unused translations any time. Downloaded files are persisted for reliable access, including offline reading scenarios after content is available locally.

The app includes dedicated spaces for your saved material. In the Saved tab, bookmarked verses are listed in a clean format with direct navigation back to context. In Notes, your personal reflections are grouped by surah and can be edited or deleted anytime.

Noor gives you practical control over the full reading environment. Choose light, dark, or system theme. Adjust verse font size. Set your interface language from a broad set of supported languages. Enable daily reading reminders and choose the exact reminder time.

Beyond in-app navigation, Noor connects with iOS system features. Core Spotlight indexing helps you open surahs directly from device search. Siri Shortcuts let you continue where you left off or open a specific surah by voice.
