THE GAMES

Wordle: guess the five-letter word in six tries. Green means right letter, right spot. Yellow means right letter, wrong spot.

Spelling Bee: seven letters in a honeycomb. Build words of four letters or more, and the middle one always has to be in there.

Letter Boxed: twelve letters around the four sides of a square. Each word starts where the last one ended, and you can't chain two letters from the same side.

Connections: sixteen words, four secret groups of four. Some of them look like they belong in two groups at once. That's the trap.

Cipher: a phrase with every letter swapped for another one. Crack a single letter and the rest starts falling on its own.

Synonyms: a word, its definition, and four candidates. You get one heart, so read it properly.

Classics: a classic book, its cover, and five questions about it.

Crossword: a 5x5 grid where every row and every column reads as a word.

A CHALLENGE EVERY DAY Each day picks three of the eight games. Finish all three to keep your streak alive and take your spot on the daily leaderboard. There's an all-time board too, if you're in it for the long game.
