Paste and Explore

Paste any JSON from your clipboard and immediately see it rendered as a collapsible tree. Keys are bold, values are color-coded by type: strings in green, numbers in blue, booleans in orange, and null in gray. Arrays and objects show their item count at a glance.

Navigate with Ease

Tap any node to expand or collapse it. Pinch-to-zoom and smooth scrolling make it easy to work through deeply nested structures. Nested objects and arrays display with clear indentation and matching closing brackets. Expand all or collapse all with a single tap from the toolbar.

Search Across Keys and Values

Tap the search icon to instantly filter across all keys and values. Match count updates in real time as you type, and previous/next buttons let you jump between results.

Built for Developers

Pry shows node count, byte size, and parse time at a glance. Long-press context menus let you copy keys, values, and paths. JSONPath display (e.g. $.data.users[0].name) gives you precise navigation. Long strings are truncated to keep the view clean. Open JSON files directly from the Files app, Safari, or any app that shares .json files.

Pry is compiled to a native binary using the Perry framework — TypeScript compiled directly to machine code. It launches instantly, parses JSON in under 1ms, and uses minimal memory. No runtime, no interpreter, no garbage collector.
