US Chess Events

The US Chess Events app is the official event companion of the United States Chess Federation (US Chess), whose mission is to empower people, enrich lives, and enhance communities through chess.Designed for players, families, coaches, tournament directors, exhibitors, and spectators, the app provides everything needed to navigate the 126th U.S. Open Chess Championship, held August 2–9, 2026, at the DeVos Place Convention Center in Grand Rapids, Michigan.The championship features the prestigious U.S. Open Swiss-system tournament, the US Chess Annual Delegates Meeting, and a full schedule of activities including blitz tournaments, quad tournaments, scholastic events, State Invitationals, special guests, exhibitions, and community activities. Users can access event schedules, venue maps and floor plans, important announcements, exhibitor information, and other event resources throughout the nine-day championship.
