APP REVIEW NOTES For App Store Connect - App Review Information App Overview ChlartPOS is a business-focused point of sale and inventory management application designed for small and medium businesses. The application supports two user roles. App Flow Summary Launch application Select role (Admin or Seller) Login using username and password Access role-based dashboard Admin can: Manage products and pricing Monitor stock levels Generate reports Manage users Seller can: Process sales transactions Scan barcodes or QR codes Generate receipts View daily summaries All core features are fully functional and accessible for review. The backend server is production-ready and fully accessible during review. No VPN, special device configuration, or external hardware is required. REQUIRED PERMISSIONS AND PURPOSE STRINGS All requested permissions are essential to core app functionality. Camera Key: NSCameraUsageDescription Purpose String: ChlartPOS uses the camera to scan barcodes and QR codes during checkout and to capture product images for inventory management. Justification: Camera access is required strictly for barcode or QR scanning and optional product image capture. No photos or videos are stored outside the application secure storage. Photo Library Key: NSPhotoLibraryUsageDescription Purpose String: ChlartPOS allows users to select product images from their photo library for inventory listings. Justification: Admins may optionally select existing images for product catalog management. Microphone If not used: NSMicrophoneUsageDescription has been removed. No third-party SDK requests microphone access. The app does not record audio. PRIVACY AND DATA COMPLIANCE ChlartPOS complies with Apple App Store Review Guideline 5.1 regarding data collection and storage. Data Collected The application may collect: Username and password for authentication Email address for admin password reset Business-related inventory and sales data No consumer personal data is collected.
