Features & Capabilities

Ragweed season is here. Respira tracks the eleven species reported across the US, tells you the morning your threshold is crossed, and gives your allergist a PDF.

Respira shows you the pollen you are actually allergic to, where you actually are.

EIGHT COUNTRIES, THE RIGHT DATA FOR EACH In the United States, Respira uses the Google Pollen API: eleven species, updated daily, wherever you are. In Spain, Portugal, France, Italy, Germany, Ireland and the United Kingdom it uses the Copernicus CAMS model, enriched with national monitoring networks where they publish measured readings.

Which species you are offered depends on where you are, because the honest answer differs. Ragweed, oak and mountain cedar matter in the United States. Olive and pellitory do not. Respira never shows a level for a species its source does not report there.

TODAY, BY SPECIES Only the allergens you have selected, only where they are actually reported. A five day forecast, and a seasonal calendar so you know what is coming.

AIR QUALITY ON THE RIGHT SCALE The EPA index in the United States, the European index elsewhere. An index of 49 is "Moderate" on one and "Good" on the other, so showing the wrong one would be worse than showing none at all.

A SYMPTOM DIARY THAT IS ACTUALLY USEFUL Record how you felt, which medication you took, how bad it was. Respira pairs each entry with the pollen levels for that day, so the pattern is there when you look back. Export it as a PDF report for your allergist.

WHEN WE HAVE NO DATA, WE SAY SO Pollen models have gaps: a species with no coverage, a source that did not answer, a location outside the model's domain. Respira shows "no reading" for those instead of a zero. "No pollen" is a measurement. "We have no data" is not. The two should never look the same on a screen you are using to decide whether to go outside.
