A calmer way to lose weight and eat better.

Caaals is a calorie and nutrition diary for people who want to pay attention to what they eat without obsessing about it. Type a meal, snap a photo, or scan a barcode, and Caaals count the calories, track the macros, and quietly score how the day is going.

Most calorie trackers feel like a dashboard that follows you home. Caaals is the opposite. A quiet place to write down what you ate, see how the day is taking shape, and close the app. No streaks shouting at you. No badges. No "log your salad before 6:14 PM" reminders.

Whether the goal is to lose weight, build muscle, or simply understand what's on your plate, Caaals helps you get there without making it ugly.

Four ways to log a meal

— Type what you ate. "Two eggs and sourdough" is enough. Caaals reads it and fills in the calories and macros. No searching, no scrolling.

— A photo is enough. Snap your plate. Caaals identifies what's on it and estimates the nutrition. Tweak if you'd like, then move on with your evening.

— Scan the barcode. For the packaged stuff, over a million products are ready to be looked up in a tap.

— Add it by hand. For the recipe your grandmother taught you that no database will ever get right.

A nutrition score that respects what you actually ate

Every other tracker stops at calories and macros. Caaals goes one step further.

The daily nutrition score is a calm 0–100 read on the whole day. It weighs your calories and macros against the goals you set. It looks at fibre, sugar, and sodium. And — uniquely — it considers how processed the food was, using the NOVA classification used by nutrition researchers worldwide.

A 600-calorie homemade lentil soup and a 600-calorie fast-food meal aren't the same thing, and Caaals is the only diary that knows it. The score won't shame you for either — it just gives you an honest read on the day, so you can make a different choice tomorrow if you'd like.

We score the day, not the person. Tomorrow is a fresh page.

Built for the goal you actually have

Set targets for weight loss, maintenance, or muscle gain. Caaals figures out your daily calories and macro split, then helps you stay close to them — calmly. Track your weight when you feel like it; Caaals smooths the trend so one bad weigh-in isn't the story.

Available on iPhone and the web

Open Caaals on your phone in line at the supermarket. Pick it up on the web at your kitchen table. The diary stays in sync.

A note on what we don't do

We don't gamify your eating. We don't sell your data. We don't run ads against your food log. We won't text you at dinnertime.

For questions, ideas, or a meal that confused the AI, write to us. We read every message.

Caaals — pay attention, don't obsess.
