Features & Capabilities

Log a meal in seconds. See where you're heading. Close the app.

Caaals is a calorie and nutrition diary that stays out of your way. Say what you ate, snap a photo, type a line, or scan a barcode — Caaals fills in the calories and macros. Then one glance shows where your weight is heading and when you'll get there. That's it. That's the app.

See where you're heading

Every diary can tell you what you ate today. Caaals shows you where it's taking you: "On track to 75 kg around August 17" — a live projection, front and centre, recalculated as you log and weigh in. The trend is smoothed, so one salty dinner doesn't rewrite the story, and a missed day doesn't erase it. You always know whether what you're doing is working — without doing any of the math.

Log it the way it actually happens

— Say it. Hands full, leaving the gym, halfway through a restaurant plate? Tap the mic: "chicken salad and a coke." Logged.

— Snap it. Point the camera at your plate. Caaals identifies what's on it and estimates the nutrition. Add a note ("no rice") and it listens.

— Type it. "Two eggs and toast" is enough. No searching, no scrolling.

— Scan it. Over a million packaged products, one tap.

— Or by hand, for the recipe your grandmother taught you that no database will ever get right.

Describe several foods at once and each becomes its own entry — fixing the rice never touches the chicken.

Estimates you can actually correct

AI estimates are never perfect, so Caaals makes them honest. Rename "salad" to "Caesar salad with chicken" and the nutrition is genuinely recalculated — the calories follow the correction. Your projection stays built on real numbers.

A score that knows what you actually ate

A 0–100 read on the whole day: calories and macros against your goals, fibre, sugar, sodium — and, uniquely, how processed your food was (the NOVA classification researchers use worldwide). A 600-calorie homemade lentil soup and a 600-calorie fast-food meal aren't the same thing, and Caaals is the only diary that knows it. We score the day, not the person.

We don't get in the way

No streaks shouting at you. No badges, no guilt mechanics, no "log your salad before 6:14 PM." No ads against your food log, and your data is never sold. Open, log, glance, close — Caaals respects that you have an actual life to get back to.

On iPhone and the web

Log from the supermarket queue, review the week from your laptop. Always in sync.

This is Caaals. Pay attention, don't obsess.
