SafeTrekr Traveler is built for organized group travel — youth ministry trips, school programs, summer camps, and mission teams — where keeping every child accounted for is the trip leader's first job.

The app serves three roles with separate interfaces and data scopes:

Travelers (students) see what they need today: the next event, the nearest rally point, the day's checklist, and any active alerts. Chaperones run the trip from one screen: roll call, rally commands, intel updates, and live participant locations on a map. Guardians (parents) get a read-only daily digest of their child's check-ins, the day's schedule, and any leader broadcasts — without access to other families' data.

What's inside • Daily Today view tailored to each role, with a morning briefing for chaperones and a parent-visible digest for guardians. • Critical Alert Takeover — high-priority alerts surface as a full-screen prompt the traveler must acknowledge. Every acknowledgement is recorded on a tamper-evident server audit log so leaders can show who saw what and when. • Direct Group rally — chaperones broadcast a destination with an arrival deadline. Travelers see the location on a map with walking directions; guardians see the broadcast in their digest. • Check-Ins and Musters — run roll call against the trip roster and watch status roll up in seconds. • Safety map with category filters for rally points, safe houses, embassies, consulates, hospitals, and police stations, plus distance-from-me filtering. • Trip packet for passports, medical consent forms, insurance, and emergency contacts, scoped per role with an audit trail on every document access. • Schedule covering the full itinerary, visible to every role. • Geofence monitoring with background location, alerting leaders if a traveler leaves the planned area. • Realtime presence so chaperones can see participant locations on their map during active trip windows. • Offline-first design so a lost signal in a tunnel or rural area does not drop safety alerts when connectivity returns.

For organizations

SafeTrekr Traveler produces a duty-of-care evidence trail for every trip: every alert sent, every acknowledgement received, and every document accessed is logged on an append only server record. That history is available to designated organization administrators for incident review, insurance documentation, and policy compliance.

For chaperones

One app replaces the spreadsheet roster, the paper attendance sheet, and the ad-hoc group text. Send a rally command, run a muster, surface an alert, and read participant locations from a single screen.

For guardians

A calm, read-only daily briefing tells parents what their child's day looks like, when they last checked in, and any leader broadcasts that affect the group — without exposing other families' information.

Access and data scope

SafeTrekr Traveler is provisioned by the sponsoring organization. Travelers, chaperones, and guardians are added to a specific trip by an organization administrator; the app is not designed for self-signup as a personal travel tool. Each role sees only the data their role permits, and identification documents have their own access log separate from the main audit trail.
