END-TO-END ENCRYPTION All messages are protected by the Signal Protocol with Double Ratchet. Your conversations are encrypted before leaving the device and can only be read by the intended recipient.

ZERO ON-DEVICE STORAGE Unlike other messengers, Eter never writes messages to disk. Content lives only in protected memory and is wiped when you leave the app. No local files, no database, no backups.

THE VAULT After 24 hours, your messages are locked in a cryptographic vault. Reopening requires mutual consent — both parties must agree. Real control over what can exist.
