Traditional Ayurveda Knowledge is a professional digital platform designed to preserve and document Sri Lanka’s traditional medical heritage.

Developed in support of the Traditional Medical Knowledge Conservation project, Bandaranaike Memorial Ayurveda Research Institute, under the purview of Department of Ayurveda, Ministry of Health and Mass Media. TMK transforms official paper-based survey documentation on Registered Traditional Medical Practioniers, into a secure, structured digital system.

The app enables authorized users to record Traditional Medical practitioner details, medical lineage (Guru–Shishya tradition), specialization fields, treatment categories, and traditional knowledge resources including special treatment regiments, Traditional Medical equipments, and manuscripts. TMK supports documentation across multiple Ayurveda specializations such as general medicine (Sarvanga), fracture treatment (Kadum Bindum) , snake bites (Sarpa Visha), pediatric care (Baala Roga) ,mental health (Manasika Roga), skin diseases (Carma Roga), diabetes (Madumeha) , joint disorders (Sandi Roga), and other traditional therapeutic fields. The platform ensures accurate data entry, reduced paperwork, and centralized record management for national-level analysis and policy development.
