Growing Us is a voice-first communication coach for couples. Just like with a trusted counsellor, talk through what matters: a weekly check-in, a tough topic you've been avoiding, or a solo journal to get clear before you bring it up. Your coach listens in real time, guides the conversation with warmth and research-backed frameworks, and helps you say what you actually mean.

We built this because we needed it ourselves. Not during a crisis, but during the ordinary weeks when conversations circled and nothing moved. We wanted a coach that was honest but never judgmental, available at midnight on a Saturday, and that didn't cost hundreds of dollars an hour. So we built a counsellor for the pocket.

HOW IT WORKS

1. Start a session: solo to think something through, or together to have a real conversation backed by relationship science
2. Talk naturally. Your coach listens and guides in real time: asking the right questions, reflecting back what it hears, helping you say what you mean
3. After the session, see what your coach noticed: where you connected, where you talked past each other, and what's worth coming back to

KEY FEATURES

• See what you couldn't see during the conversation: After you talk, your coach shares what it noticed about how you communicate. Where you were curious, where you got defensive, what you each seemed to need.

• Not sure where to start? Pick a card: Choose from conversation guides that name the things couples actually avoid: the elephant in the room, the difficult question, the hard thing you've been meaning to bring up.

• Think it through before you bring it up: Use solo mode to talk to your coach alone. Arrive at the conversation with more clarity about what you actually want to say.

• Know who said what: When you talk together, the app identifies each speaker — so insights are specific to how each of you communicates, not just "the couple."
