Real App Blocker & Screen Time
⏻ffline
Real Blocking, to focus on what matters
⏻ffline is for people who already know what they need to do - and just need their phone to cooperate.
Real blocking. Not theatre.
If Screen Time isn't active, ⏻ffline won't start. No fake sessions. Either you're blocked or you're not.
When a session starts, your chosen apps are locked - using Apple's Screen Time infrastructure. The same system behind parental controls. Not hidden. Blocked. It stays that way until your session ends.
This isn't a timer layered over temptation. It's commitment.
Your phone knows more than you think.
Most people underestimate their screen time by hours. ⏻ffline shows you your real 30-day average the moment you set up - before you ever start a session. You see the gap between what you thought and what's true. Then you decide what to do about it.
Everything is calculated on-device. Your data never leaves your phone.
Your day starts before your apps open.
Set a Morning Ritual threshold. When you pick up your phone, ⏻ffline meets you first - before anything else loads. Move a bit. Plan your day. Stay offline a little longer. Then your phone opens.
Your apps don't get the first moment of your day. You do.
Sessions that hold.
Set an intention. Pick a theme. Start. Build your own themes from scratch or use templates - Gym, Short Sprint, Wind Down, Deep Work, and more. You define the daily target. ⏻ffline doesn't set one for you.
Five ways to make stopping intentional.
Quitting is always possible. But you choose in advance how hard it should be:
Intentional Delay - a countdown before the session ends. Enough time for an impulse to pass.
Future Trade-Off - stopping now costs you later. You decide what that means.
Session Downgrade - step down to a lighter session instead of quitting. Progress over perfection.
Walk Unlock - to end early, you walk first. A short distance, outside. By the time you're back, the impulse has usually passed.
QR Code - scan a code to exit early. The code lives somewhere else. Distance is the point.
Limits that actually limit
Set a daily open limit on any app. LinkedIn four times a day. Instagram three. When you hit the limit, ⏻ffline holds the door closed until tomorrow. On Pro, tightening those limits takes resistance first.
Nudges that know when to show up.
Not every distraction needs a full session. Set ⏻ffline to nudge you when you've been on your phone too long - morning, afternoon, or evening. Short, sharp notifications that don't explain themselves. Just enough friction to make you think twice.
See exactly where your time went.
Every week, ⏻ffline shows you a full recap — how much you used your phone, which apps took the most, how you compare to your baseline, and what you're on track to reclaim this year. Not to make you feel bad. To show you what's actually changing.
Quiet, not a game.
No streaks. No points. No optimisation theatre. Quick Focus for when you need quiet fast. Themed sessions for when the kind of quiet matters. A focus map that fills in as you show up - earned, not counted.
⏻ffline isn't trying to change who you are.
It's trying to give you back the hours to figure that out yourself.
Willpower was never the answer. Your system is.
