PronounFrench lets you hear standard pronunciation, view IPA and syllables, record and compare your voice, and systematically learn all 26 letters plus accents.

1. Input field & playback Enter any French word or sentence (multi-line supported). Tap “Play standard pronunciation” to hear the synthesized standard reading as many times as you like.

2. Pronunciation card After tapping “Get pronunciation & examples,” this card shows the IPA, syllable breakdown, stress position, and liaison notes to help you grasp every detail.

3. Example sentences 1–2 French example sentences containing the word are generated with translations. Tap the play icon beside any sentence to hear it in real context.

4. Shadowing & comparison Tap “Start recording” and read aloud, then “Stop.” Use “Play my recording” to compare with the standard and refine your accent. Microphone permission is required the first time.
